Week 7 (Training II)

Alaaaaa cepat la sampai 82kg. Awat la lambat sangat ni.

Current weight : 83.5kg (lost 400g)
Fat % : 40.3% (increase 0.2%)

My cousin: 108.9kg (lost 1.7kg). I'm so proud of her but ada gak jeles sket sebab trainer nya weight loss is slowww.

Kalau ikut kiraan losing 500g seminggu (yes my body is THAT slow), by the time week 12 I would be 81kg. Tak moooo I must be at 80kg or lower lepas habis week 12. I want to start next year in the 70skg.

Nutrition - not too bad. Yang terlebih makan tu makan pekasam (masin so jadi water retention) dan nasi dagang (perut berangin maklumla beras pulut).

On Wednesday I got a change in the training plan. Training plan is supposed to be different every 6 weeks so that our body do not adapt.

Mon - Weights + 30mins power walking
Tues - Cross trainer 45mins + core exercises
Wed - Weights + Bicycle 30mins
Thurs - Walk/Jog 45 mins (exceeded the plan's expectation actually) + core exercises
Fri - Weights + 20mins interval
Sat - 1hr power walking
Sun - 20mins interval + 30mins power walking

Benci arr kat gym tu. Machine banyak rosak. Bicycle 2 rosak. Treadmill yang aku selalu naik pun rosak. Aku terpaksa pi cari treadmill lain yang aku tak familiar. Bila aku buat interval atau walk/jog aku kena tekan speed button tu every few seconds. Kalau naik bicycle senang sket tapi kalau naik treadmill boleh jatuh kalau silap langkah. Tadi pun aku naik stepper. Eeee tak suka stepper (yang baik untuk kita tulah yang kita tak suka). Aku punya membership dengan gym ni sampai Dec. Hopefully gym Eastin Hotel akan bukak and aku boleh lah join. Abang trainer yang bagus kat gym aku ni dah di-hire oleh Eastin so tinggal la yang malas buat keja tu.

Next week I want my weight to be in the 82kg. Next week's challenge is to control makan waktu Raya Haji. Alaaa please laaaa dah nak dekat 80kg dah ni. Merayu kat my body.

Week 6 (Training II)

Earlier this week I was pulled down by problems. During the midweek I had more problems. Problems of someone else that I became involved in. No one noticed but I could just breakdown and cry anytime. I looked happy on the outside but on the inside....

My birthday was last Thursday. I didn't feel like celebrating. I hate the fact that my birthday came in between my depressed times. I'm not usually like this. I know I need to talk to someone otherwise I could go insane. I didn't get birthday wishes from 2 people who meant a lot to me last year. I was a lil bit upset. I opened my facebook and I got the most birthday wishes in my life since ever. Wow I'm so lucky! Thank you to those people. It made my day. I still get a belated birthday wish till today.

On my birthday I ate a hi-fibre cheese cake from Secret Recipe. Only about 4 tablespoons. Hey at least I'm not deprived right. I also ate sotong goreng tepung at Pan Mutiara Restaurant. Yumm.

A friend came yesterday and talked to me about mind mapping the problems. He's right I feel so much better. He treated me lunch and I ate extra yesterday at Ichiban. Japanese buffet. I love the portion size there. Go eat at Ichiban if you're on diet. The taste is not excellent but it fullfilled the crave for Japanese food.

What makes me even happier is my weight loss. Here it is

Current weight: 83.9kg (lost 1 kg)
Fat % : 40.1% (gained 0.5% this is cause I ate extra at Ichiban yesterday)
Measurements : Lost 15.5cm from Week 4 (this one is inconsistent) but still a lot of loss.

My cousin gained weight a bit: 110.6kg. I think she is gaining muscle because her body has shaped a lot.

Training this week:

Monday - Weights + 30mins power walking
Tuesday - Jog 45mins (I increased the speed) + core exercises
Wednesday - Weights + 10mins power walking (I sembang with gym friends while doing weights and didn't have enough time plus I forgot that I am supposed to do an interval sighh...)
Thursday - Walk/Jog 45mins (increased speed. had to stop twice cuz so tired) + core exercises
Friday - Weights + 30mins interval
Saturday - HITT cardio + 30mins power walking (replaced the one on Wed) + core exercises
Sunday - Interval + 30mins power walking

Compliments - Mr. Lim who works out at the gym told me I should buy seluar baru. He said "I think your pants are too big for you". Cis, I thought I could get away wearing the old baggy seluar tracksuit. Now I have to buy new ones. I find that this week I had to learn to let go of old nostalgia things. My pants are one of them. My M30 Toshiba laptop also decided to kahput after 6 years. I now use Toshiba Portege T110-P110.
Second compliment came in this morning at the gym. Abang Wan (used to be a trainer there), he said Masreen dah kurus banyak bahagian chest (dia tunjuk ja la), badan dah kecik, muka pun dah kecik!

Finally, a light at the end of the tunnel. I have passed the 20kg mark after such a long time waiting. My trainer told me to hang on and I did. I'm glad I did.

Week 5 (Training II)

I didn't feel like blogging last week. Again, I was having personal/family/work problems. Mental state was in a complete mess. Stressed out. Felt like moving out. I exercised like normal though, ate out 3 times but gained weight because on Sunday I was in a photoshoot with friends. They brought nuggets, sausages and I ate them.

So this week is all about losing last week's weight gain. It sucks to know how hard it is to lose the weight gain. This week I lost a little bit of control when I ordered Penang Road cendol (this I did not regret) and ate Ayam Percik Ayamas.

My current weight : 84.9kg (gained 0.2kg arrgghhh)
Fat %: 39.6% (lost 2.5%...am I gaining muscle? I have no idea)

My cousin is still with me. Her weight: 110.5kg (lost 0.5kg)

Training this week:
Monday - Weights + 20mins cycling
Tuesday - 45mins elliptical trainer + core exercises
Wed - Weights + interval
Thurs - Walk/Jog 45mins + core exercises
Friday - Weights + 30mins power walking
Saturday - HIIT cardio + 45mins power walking
Sun - Interval 30 mins + 45 mins power walking

I don't have a laptop at the moment. I have a M30 Toshiba Satellite that I bought 6 years ago when I went overseas. I totally 'sayang' this laptop. It crashed 4 times and I managed to get it back on. This time, it's totally gone. Sedih. I need to get a new laptop.

Other than that, I'm counting down how many days my ex is getting married.

I MUST get to 83kg next week. I'm pissed!!!

End of Week 3 ( Training II)

Lost more weight. Yayyy. Tak sabar nak go below 80kg. Aku predict it will take 5 more weeks dah boleh.

Weight: 84.7kg (lost 1.1kg)
Fat %: 42.1%

What did I do different this week? I stopped snacking on rice crackers which I've mistaken for rice cakes. Kat mana nak cari? Tak jumpa lah. Makan pun control. Tadi my friends ajak pi Apex Cafe. Depa siap makan fish and chips la, tuna sandwiches and mee goreng mamak. Arrgghh geramnya tengok. Aku tahan ja nafsu. Then adik aku ajak pi Baskin Robbins plak. Last last aku tak jadi pi. Nak kena tahan nafsu lagi...eeee susah.

My cousin dah balik KL Jumaat lepas. Aku sempat shopping baju Dorothy Perkins and Ms. Read dekat Gurney dengan dia. Aku sempat timbang dia. So this is the results:

Current weight: 111kg (turun 2.1kg). Aku pesan banyak kat dia to make sure that dia tak gain the weight. She's supposed to come back on Wednesday for a MONTH! Kalau la dalam masa 2 weeks boleh lose 5kg. Imagine after a month. Anyway my auntie called and congratulate the trainer (aku lah tu). Family di KL dah perasan dia kurus. For me, aku gembira sebab usaha aku berhasil.

Friday - Lazyyyyy....nak tidoq lebih. Tak pi gym.

Sun - Interval 30 mins + power walking

End of Week 2 (Training II)

This week is the most challenging week in my life. I've been informed of a news which came to a shock to me. Parents were upset/stressed. It was really the toughest week ever. On top of that, my 116.1kg cousin is here to be trained by me. She's 22. Her mother serahkan dia bulat bulat to me to train and control her food.

So my results
Weight: 85.8kg (lost 400g)
Fat % : 42.2%

Her results - 113.1kg (lost 3 kg) in 5 days. She's staying here until Friday. She told my sister - "Trainer garang" and she is scared to touch unauthorized food.

Ha ha tau takut. I pushed her at the gym but not until gila gila la. I gave her positive remarks when she did a good job. Kena psycho dia la gak. Not easy. She's happy with me. Today I'm taking her to the spa because she lost 3kg. Plus I need a break.

Anyway hope things will work out for her. I'm taking this role rather seriously. Wish me luck.

End of Week 1 (Training II)

I've lost more weight since Tuesday so that's good.

Weight : 86.2kg (Lost 800g)
Fat %: 43.9% (I think because I ate too much protein yesterday)

How well did I follow my nutrition this week? Very good. Like a saint. Tapi today makan rendang ayam berapa ketul, lemang, bihun, kuih raya suci dalam debu. Uhuks. Punyala banyak makan sampai I went to Giant beli barang balik pukul 10 mlm. Then my maid tanya "Kakak tak mau makan?" Alamak. I was so NOT hungry sampai terlupa kata tak makan lagi. I told my maid "Tak makan la kot" . I janji dengan dia that I will eat the sup bayam yang dia buat. Esok la aku makan. Biasanya aku ni pukul 7 pm dah tergedik gedik cari dinner. Latest by 7.30pm camtu. My mother masak ayam rendang masa open house haritu tapi tak sempat makan. Hari ni dia buat lagi cuz guests mai umah. Sighh....What to do? Nampaknya esok exercise kat gym teruklah.

Training is okaylah. Boleh ikut. Tapi I am pushing myself for a higher speed and weights.
Monday - 45 mins elliptical trainer + core exercises
Tuesday - Weights + power walking
Wed - Walk jog 45 mins + core exercises
Thurs - Weights + power walking
Friday - HIIT cardio + power walking + core exercises
Sat - Weights
Sun - Interval 30 mins + power walking

Energy level - Hari Thurs and Fri mengantuk sangat. Sampai kena tidoq lunch time. Boring betul. Malam lak pengsan awal dari biasa. Pukul 9 dah lalok. Today I went to the gym pkl 8.30am. Esok ntah la. Tengok la pukul berapa bangun.

Supplements belum makan lagi. Maybe esok baru start kot. Tanya gak abang trainer kat gym tadi camana dia telan pil besaq gajah tu. Siap suruh gigit gigit. Alaaaa lemah aku dengar. Nak telan satu hal dah. Pastu tadi dia kata "Ada satu program body building untuk pompuan". Aku cam "Aaaaaa? Biaq saya kuruih dulu kot baru leh body building". Nak tergelak lak. Bila aku habaq kat abang tu mengenai keletihan on Thurs and Fri, dia kata kalau makan Animal Pak tu mesti tak letih cuma jangan makan malam aja. Tak leh tidoq. Hmm tak tau la camana. Esok baru nak cuba kot.

Okayla aku dah ngantuk. I will try to update on Saturdays if not Sunday. Need to see more improvement on my weight.

Lagi satu I am OFF SIY now. So I won't be buying anymore. SIY distributors/sellers please leave me alone.

My target for Week 2: To get to 85kg

SIY and Week 1 (Training II)

Makanan dah start control. Exercise pun dah start last week. SIY punya 10 days ended yesterday.

Weight: 87kg (Lost 2.5kg)
Fat %: 43.2%

Pengalaman makan SIY: Masa first day tu tekak terasa kering. Aku memang style minum 4L sehari. So lepas down 3L, dah ok. Second day plak angin start keluar atas bawah. Third day pi toilet 5-6 kali. Tengah jogging pagi pagi pun tetiba stop because senak perut. Lepas buat bisnes sambung jogging balik. Then dah pack barang dah keluar gym, said goodbye to the trainer, terpaksa lari masuk balik.....senak peruuutt. Fourth day, still senak perut dan lapar pada waktu tak sepatutnya. Balik umah lepas keja tercari cari nasi pastu dah makan dinner gi keluar dengan kawan lapar plak sekali lagi. Fifth day, senak perut berkurangan tapi tekak kering walaupun minum 3L. 6th day migraine. 7th day mulut pecah pecah. 8-10th day normal. Cuma kerap gi toilet walaupun tak sekerap cam masa awal tu.

Verdict: Makan mau jaga. Exercise kena buat sebab nak turun berat ni kena make sure lifestyle bertukar. Kalau nak harap ubat kurus sampai bila. Apa pun aku bersyukur berat aku turun walaupun tak sampai 86kg seperti yang diharapkan. Would I recommend it? Probably ok untuk lose a few kgs kot. Tapi kalau banyak banyak kg tu.....timbang tara sendirila. Kalau cam aku, makan ubat tak exercise jangan harap nak turun berat badan. Exercise yang aku buat on those days

Day 1: Rest from previous days.
Day 2: 1 hr power walking
Day 3: Weights + 20 mins interval
Day 4: 1 hr Jogging & cycling + core exercises
Day 5: Weights + 30 mins power walking
Day 6: 30 mins elliptical trainer + 30 mins power walking + core exercises
Day 7: Rest sebab aku angkat deadlift 35kg 10 reps x 3 sets so sakit belakang. Ni sebab aku tengok gambar-gambar backside aku yang besar yang telah diambil oleh cousin aku yang bertuah.
Day 8: Tak sempat sebab Open House sampai malam (Thanks Miza pfs6450 for coming)
Day 9: 30 mins jogging + 30 mins power walking
Day 10: 45 mins Elliptical trainer

SIY ni stimulant product so after a certain time makan kena stop kejap. Then start again supaya body tak biasa dengan product ni dan efek dia tak berkekalan. Ok habis cerita pasal SIY.

Now cerita pasal Training program baru. Apa yang berlainan? Program writer aku, nutrition plan dan exercise. Dalam nutrition plan aku tu, depa nasihat jangan makan snack yang sama sehari. Dulu aku makan papaya as snack 2 x sehari tapi lanie makan 15 biji badam la (sedap gak makan krup krup bunyi), yoghurt la, buah, rice cracker dengan tuna. Pastu breakfast aku dah takda carbs. Skang ni aku punya strategi ialah tak makan lauk untuk dinner. Aku makan nasi dengan sayur saja pastu cover protein intake dengan protein shake. Tengok apa jadi.

Training program plak depa consider aku punya shoulder injury dan tak guna part yang aku di-operate awal this year. Aku tengok program tu kao tim ah. Leh buat punya. Senang!

Ada abang trainer kat gym plak jual protein dengan multivitamin kat aku. Aku percaya kat abang tu so aku pun beli. LG Sciences Lipoprotein dan Animal Pak multivitamin. Mahai gak. Balik baca tengok uiiiyooo benda ni untuk body building. Adakah dia nampak aku berpotensi jadi keras cam tu. Serious stuff beb! Hehehehe lanie aku pun takut nak makan. Kalau hampa google pasal Animal Pak tu mesti terkejut dengan testimonial dia. Ganas. Pil dia besaq gajah. Banyak plak tu. Selain daripada tu aku ada beli Durathon fat burner dari Australia. Dia non stimulant so should be okay kot. Semua ni aku belum try lagi. Mungkin in a few days aku akan start.

Target aku kali ni: To be under 80kg by 31 Dec 2009.
